As a direct result of our Advice North Somerset Conference we have set up a Forum to take forward the issues raised. The focus of the Forum will be on solutions, action and best practice.
The Forum was held on Monday 8th December at The Campus. At the first Forum we concentrated on three areas:
SOCIAL POLICY
including an update on the Housing Benefit campaign and setting the agenda for taking this forward
REFERRALS
reporting back on referrals system developments
DIGITAL INCLUSION
launching the Go4IT scheme: an opportunity to gain IT equipment and an update on other initiatives happening in North Somerset
There was also an opportunity to update Network members on any relevant developments and examples of good practice.
