Finding Advice Online

A 2-hour interactive session on finding quality advice materials online to resolve client issues.

This session is available on request and would suit a group of workers or volunteers who regularly deal with advice problems in their work.

Aim:

Non-advice organisations will be able to help their service users find quality advice information online when they are unable or prefer not to access face-to-face

Objectives:

By the end of the session, participants will be able to :

  • identify appropriate online advice resources to deal with queries in each of the areas of Benefits Debt, Housing and Employment
  • navigate the Advice North Somerset website to find relevant self-help and other resources
